YOGA AND JUICE FEASTING DETOX RETREAT

During this week we will be doing a particular kind of cleanse called a “Juice Feast”. During a Juice Feast you consume only raw vegetable and fruit juices with a few additional items such as oils, super green powders and bee pollen. It is called a juice FEAST because you drink as much as you can, preferably at LEAST three litres, if not over four litres. By doing this you give your body a rest from solids, freeing up energy that is usually used in digestion whilst consuming the same amount of calories as usual, but taking in huge amounts of goodness.
We call this EXTREME NUTRITION. It is gentle, and is definitely not fasting as you can have as much as you like. It is powerful and it is releasing. It gives your body an opportunity to catch up on its cleaning and clearing out of wastes and toxins, and then to catch up on its mending jobs of repairing and regenerating your being from deep within. This process can be very sucessful in soothing and calming your system, clearing your head and increasing your flexibility, all of which is in complete synergy with our yoga programme.
You will have a goody box of organic vegetables to go home with to ease the move back into home life, and an information booklet to help you to maintain your progress and move towards a permanent healthier, happier you.
